How many girls have loved you before I did?
How much love have their hearts hid?
Did they see you the way I see you?
Did they feel their love was as true?
Were their hearts lucky enough to fly?
If they felt they’d lose you, did they cry?
Were they desperate as they prayed for you?
Did they even pray that much for you?
Were their hearts renewed and pure?
With you, did they feel safe and secure?
Did they feel they’ll lose life without you?
Did they feel closer to God because of you?
Did you break hearts? Was yours broken?
Were your love and hurt unspoken?
Did you show love? Did you make a vow?
But all this doesn’t matter to me now…
Oh, I wish I can prove to you that my heart,
Will never be able to live if you depart,
Coz, more than anyone has, I’ve loved you,
And more than I’ve loved a person too…
You hold my being; you’re my soul…
Please love me, and make me whole…
