I Won’t Succumb

I deeply like this poem; It shows a lot about the inner part of me that’s strong... I wrote it when I felt I was trying to be led by someone who was doing his best to push me out of the way; someone who acted so childishly just to try to destroy my accomplished success…
I don’t want you to think it’s arrogance, but even if you do, you’re totally free to do so… :)

I won’t be controlled, I won’t succumb,
I don’t care if the whole world is dumb.
I’m so dignified, my heart is brave,
Even if it leads me to my eternal grave.
If it’s my right, then I’ll openly talk;
Away from the stand I refuse to walk.
Into the battle is where I belong,
I know I can fight, I know I’m strong,
I can defend my rights, make a choice,
I deserve to have a loud, heard voice,
That everyone should clearly respect,
Coz I have the right to talk and object!
Why should I be a follower, not the leader?
I shouldn’t be obliged to be life’s reader,
Coz I can write my own chosen fate,
And find my way where I can be great;
The way to commemorate who I am,
To be unique in the world’s busy jam,
The way to carve my self-made story,
Into the walls of history with real glory,
The way where I can feel I was truly alive,
Not just someone who struggled to survive…
So, even if anyone thinks this is extra pride,
Someday I’ll prove that I haven’t lied!

I love you and it’s not just true,

But my love is so different, so new,

So fulfilling, completing and divine;

It’s a dream I can never define.

It’s like a force so strong, it moves all,

Like power coming from a waterfall…

So, I want to write poems to you,

Show you my heart, fly with you,

Hold you tight, keep you so close,

Show you how much my love grows,

Surround you with warmth and care,

And let you know I’ll always be there…

When my mind is full of thoughts about you,

And when my heart is aching to see you,

Do you feel my heart, do you see it?

Do you read my mind, do you know it?

My love, do you know how much you’re missed?

Do you know that without you I don’t exist?

I wish you’re thinking of me, I wish you do,

Not necessarily as much as I think of you…

But at least I hope you know what’s in me,

What I’ll never let go of that easily.

I wish you hold me close as you did before,

I wish I can show you love and even more.

I wish you see my heart… I wish you feel it;

You’re the only one I know can keep it

I Want to Love You More

A very simple poem, with very simple words.. but it shows an idea that I consider important..

Today as I put myself to sleep,

I had some thoughts; so deep…

I thought of my possible life with you,

And how much I love you.

I was so scared of the day,

When you might go away.

I thought about my love to you,

How tremendous it is, how true…

But I was hit by worry and fear;

That because you are not here,

My love may grow less,

That there will never be “US”…

I wanted to love you more,

To worship, adore and die for,

To tell you what no one’s told,

What in my heart I’ll always hold…

I want my love to always be so true,

But no matter how much I love you,

It’ll never be enough or fill my heart.

And even though we’re far apart,

I promise to make this love grow,

And I’ll always write to let you know,

That even if the whole world is altered,

My love will always be unaltered…
