With You, I’m a Little Child
Poem #334
Written 16.9.2011
When I’m with you, I’m a little child,
I like to let my imagination go wild,
I laugh, run, and forget everything,
Hold you close to me and softly sing…
I feel no longer old, worried, unhappy,
Knowing your shoulders can carry me,
Believing that your smile is my rescue,
And your pure heart is my virtue…
I could let go of my world for you,
Sacrificing it all is the least I can do,
Having you with me means that I,
Have no limits; I can reach the sky!
You give me more than I ask for,
With your love, there’s always more,
So I don’t care about the rest,
Because I already have the best!
